Have a (new?) CDL & looking for work in interesting niche?Company Flatbed DriverFrom: All Phase Transportation CommentsWe are based out of Pacific, WA & looking for a flatbed driver. Must have 2 yrs exp. clean MVR. We run the lower 48's, Canada & Alaska. Call 888-269-2082 ask for Rita From: allan_bmw@hotmail.com CommentsI'm interested in finding someone who has their CDL (perhaps new, just out of school?) but who hasn't yet settled into the industry, or is looking for more independance. I looked all over for a way to work as an O/O but kept running into the costs (truck/trailer, taxes, etc, etc.). I now deck trucks (piggy back, mainly Freightliner) and make O/O $$ doing it. I think I could easily teach someone to do the same (for better-than-average pay!) and have fun doing it too. It's work, to be sure. But don't let any slick-talking recruter get you to thinking there are any easy trucking jobs out here. I've been in it 12 years now and have done a bit of everything; car-hauling, flat-bed, reefer/van, double-belly's, end-dump etc. At the moment, I can't think of a better way to be OTR and make it worth while. I'd like a hand out here and would like to see someone who enjoys something different besides running from warehouse to warehouse. Women are encouraged to write as well as men. Some women actually drive better, and have a better attitude, so give it a whirl! My name is Allan, & I'm based in Utah. The company I work with is in the Kansas City area, and it would help if you were in the West (or willing to try this and relocate if you like it). Best way to reach me at the moment is via e-mail: allan_bmw@hotmail.comLooking forward to hearing from you. Give me all your details (experience, willingness to be out, $$ you want to earn, where you call home, etc) Thanks for writing!allan_bmw@hotmail.com Last changed: September 03, 2004 |
