Quite interesting reading " The Diary of a Swift driver" Begining to a sad ending.

I heard about this web site on the West coast and read it when I came home on Thanksgiving. It starts out where he contacts a recruiter, goes through school, his trainer and his co-driver experience. Then it gives a spreadsheet of all his pay since day one with all of his paychecks and how much he spent on tolls and how much had been reimbursed. Then comes the sad reality of not being able to make the house payments and needing a new career.Why is it that these companies don't care about the financial problems of their drivers and give them the miles to make a 1/2 way decent living?
