I am searching for a temporary seasonal position preferrably pulling a company trailer,in New England region, even part-time a few days a week.Waste haulage, tank, dump trailer, etc.are all possibilities if work was feasible.I have a home heating oil business that slows down in April through October, and would like to get involved with a reputable,smaller-sized carrier in New England or Upstate NY that has a position like the one described.I would like to supply just Non-Trucking Liability Insurance, and have a lease agreement to utilize carrier's authority.Again, just a part-time deal is sufficient;just a fill-in situation while things are slow.

I would suggest being very careful in working for Rocor. We worked as owner/ops hauling their trailers and we had nothing but hassels from them.

There are many suits against Rocor for failing to recognize independents as such and taking taxes plus taking too much out for permits and such.

Be cautious. Check out www.ooida.com and search under law suits for their name. Also go to www.dogpile.com and look for their name and take a look at the stuff that comes up regarding law suits.
