I live in missouri I curious about the trucking industry what sort of income can it bring in on a weekly/biweekly /monthly. Can someone please tell me in their opinion who's the best to get started with? Do schools/companys really allow you to train while earning an income with them?Is it possible to stay within my state while training on the job? Thanksjohnmead69

Where are you located and looking to run loads from? In California there does seem to be a pretty well-saturated field. However running loads from east to west seems to need to be covered much better. Might not need to have an office on the east coast to accomplish. Many trucks are on the east coast and cannot get back in a timely manner. Might consider that aspect.

Also might consider working for a larger firm rather than on your own. Lot less hassle. Most work for commission when they do that.

If you set something up in the near future with runs east coast to west coast, let us know.
