What are perdiums good for? What is the difference between a perdium and a stipend? Can a business designate anything as a perdium? Can a business expense perdiums off their taxes as expenses? Example: I own a business in which I travel locally from job to job. I stop for lunch, coffee, cigarettes which I pay out of my pocket. Can I give my self a daily perdium for these expenses and take them off my taxes?
