I'm not sure of what kind of trucking company I would like to start.I am a young female who has driven tractor-trailers before so I do know the industry.I have driven for a waste company and I have delivered food. I'm always running into companies that tell me that they do not hire women.I've always wanted to start my own company so know I would like some advise on where I should start.Please help.

I'm looking for a transfer truck as I'm driving for a company now and making nothing. Question is what do I need to own a truck in calif? I'm just asking about the legal end of it. Does it start with a business license and ca #'s, puc?
