Dear sierra849, The best way to enter the trucking industry depends on your experience. If you know how to drive. Then study and take the CDL test andd then apply for a job. If you do not know how to drive. A school or trainee program is the best route in my opinion. The average cost for a school or training program is an average of $3000. If you do not know how to drive a school is most definately worth it. There is also conpanies with trainee programs you should research also before just deciding on a school. GOOD LUCK!
